Lucas Wolfe was one of 11 recognized on Friday with a Board of Trustees Award for having the highest scholastic average at the close of their last semester at MSU – a 4.0 GPA. He interned and served as an undergrad research assistant in MSU’s Smart Microsystems Lab, working on 3D printing of shape memory polymers, wave energy-harvesting, and underwater robotics. Lucas graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering on Dec. 16. He is a member of the Honors College and also a graduate of Mason High School. He begins work in Substation Design for HDR in Ann Arbor MI in January.
