SPNelson Sepulveda, an associate professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, recently received a GAANN grant from the Department of Education. This award will provide $149,250 per year, for 3 years ($447,750 total) to support graduate students in areas of national need. The GAANN Program provides grants to academic departments and programs of institutions of higher education (IHEs) to support graduate fellowships for students with excellent academic records who demonstrate financial need and plan to pursue the highest degree available in their course of study at the institution. The proposal is also supported by an institutional match of 25% (or $37,312.5 per year); which will be provided by Graduate School and the College of Engineering.
