RMRamakrishna Mukkamala, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, receives an IEEE EMBS Most Impactful Paper Award - the third place.  Congratulations!

The IEEE EMBS Most Impactful Paper Award is awarded to papers with the highest citations over the previous five years (2015-2019) that were published in the journals IEEE TBME, TNSRE, JTEHM, and RBME. This award rewards the best papers published in these four journals that are 100% sponsored by EMBS.

The awarded paper was published in the IEEE TBME: Mukkamala R, Hahn JO, Inan OT, Mestha LK, Kim CS, Toreyin H, Kyal S.  Toward ubiquitous blood pressure monitoring via pulse transit time:  theory and practice.  IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 62(8):1879-1901, 2015.  Dr. Mukkamala was both the first and corresponding author of the paper.
